The Twin Rivers Adult School partners with Northern California Construction Training, Inc. (NCCT) to offer a building trade’s pre-apprenticeship program. Our primary goal is preparation and placement into the various construction apprenticeships.
 
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Use of construction terms, tools and equipment
  • Development of proper work habits and skills
  • General job safety and first aid
  • Measurements and basic blueprint reading
  • Enhance and improve math, reading, and writing skills
  • Apprenticeship Exams preparation for 22 different trades of building and construction
  • Driver’s License preparation
ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must register and be enrolled as a Twin Rivers Adult School student
  • Must be able to understand and use appropriate English language

Construction Training classes offered at Vista Nueva High School

    • Construction classes will be held at Vista Nueva High School on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 2:00pm-4:00pm. For more information or to register for the class, please contact Michelle Montiel at michelle.montiel@twinriversusd.org

Fees:  Free.  There is no cost to attend this class and fingerprinting is done at the district office at no cost for enrolled students.
