6-Week CNA Course

Students spend time in the classroom as well as in a clinical care facility.  Skills are evaluated by your instructor using standards set by the California Department of Health and Human Services. You will gain practical knowledge of patient care as a Nursing Assistant. This will help you secure employment in long-term care and assisted living facilities. You will learn how to care for the “whole” patient  while encouraging independence and self care. This will involve effective communication, infection control, safety, and clinical nursing assisting.

Note: This course on its own is not qualified for Pell Grants.  Students wishing to receive a Pell Grant, should consider the CNA with LVN Prep program, which is Pell qualified.
