Students who successfully complete an entire Career Technical Program with Twin Rivers Adult School, will receive a certificate of completion. To receive this certificate they must turn in a Student Completion and Check-Out Form. This form is required of all students who participate in a full-time Career and Technical (CTE) education program and wish to receive a Certificate of Completion on the last day of their program. The form may be submitted as early as the first day of the last 6-week block in a program, and not less than 2 weeks prior to completion of a program. Failure to follow this timeline may result in a delay of the certificate of the course of study.
Students who are not enrolled in an entire program, but only in individual courses, may request from their instructor an individual certificate for just that course. Students graduating from our High School Completion program should contact our registrar about receiving their diploma.
Earning a Certificate of Distinction
Twin Rivers Adult School follows a philosophy of authentic assessment, such that students who prove that they have been able to use the knowledge and skills they have learned in the real world, deserve extra recognition. Thus, students who have successfully done any of the following after graduation will receive a Certificate of Distinction:
- Become employed in the industry that they trained for
- Joined the Military
- Went on for further education
- Earned an industry recognized certification or licensure
To earn this certificate students must either complete a written Job Card that they can get from any of our offices, or they may submit this information online.
